Utah is represented through Local Boxing Committee 34 (Utah LBC 34).
Utah LBC helps organize and support amateur boxing across the state while following national USA Boxing standards.

USA Boxing is the national governing body for Olympic-style amateur boxing in the United States.

One of the most common parent questions.
In sanctioned amateur boxing, bouts are matched with safety and fairness in mind.
Matchmakers look at:
The goal is to create appropriate, balanced matchups.
A boxer is not matched simply because they are available.
Officials and coaches work together to help ensure the matchup is suitable and safe.
Sometimes matches change or are canceled if the matchup is not appropriate.
That is normal and it protects athletes.
